Directions to Hressingarskalinn
Hressingarskalinn, or 'Hresso' as the locals like to call it, is kind of like a superhero. It's a restaurant by day and a club by night. Well, not exactly. If you find yourself at Hresso on a weekday you are most likely there for the food. Hresso offers an extensive menu of soups, salads, hamburgers, steaks, breakfast items and small courses, and they're quite affordable. The outdoor smoking area is probably the most popular chimney in the city. It's kind of half house - half tent. There are many tables, heating lamps, blankets and a roof over your head so you can enjoy a cigarette with your coffee without freezing to death, just like in the old days.
During the weekend Hresso turns into a club where people dance into the wee hours of the morning. People of all ages go to Hresso to bust a move, drink cocktails and listen to popular music.
Go to Hresso on a Monday if you're hungry for food and go there on a Friday if you're hungry for the dancefloor. Either way you'll be satisfied.
