Directions to Studio Stafn
Stúdíó Stafn might look humble from the outside, but inside it is a bastion of class and professionalism that's a rare find in modern times. The studio is an artistan's workshop for the preservation, presentation and procurement of art goods in Reykjavík. They deal in a vast number of extremely rare and valuable pieces, including classics by the Icelandic masters of the 20th century.
They offer a diverse range of services for artwork and antiques, including the preservation and restoration of art pieces and proper finishing and framing of paintings, to name a few. The experts at the studio consult about proper care for antiques and other objects, in addition to assisting with appraisals and procuring certificates of origin where possible. The studio is also a gallery exhibiting pieces by select artists.
Studio Stafn was recognised by Myndstefs in 2010 for professional business practices and honourable conduct toward artists and patrons.
