Cod over crumbly and not first rate. Batter burnt in places. Strange oil aroma. Maybe over used frier. Good chips. Fish stew is over sliced and too lemony. Tiramisu is OK but lacks creamyness inherent in marscapone. Greasy caf vibe. Over priced for what it is. Go next door to Reykjavik Fish.

Stopped by 101 Reykjavik Street Food for a quick lunch and ordered their lobster soup. It was tasty, rich, and hearty—definitely satisfying, especially on a chilly day. The place itself is simple and works well if you just need a fast bite rather than a long, sit-down meal. Great location too, just near Rainbow Street, so it’s easy to pop in while exploring. Overall, a decent spot if you’re looking for something warm and filling without the fuss.

Food was great. Decent sized portions especially for what you pay. Staff were nice but the entire time we were eating they were all talking loudly about a guy not paying them, someone threatening to be fired for not picking up someones shift whos sick. Theres a time and place for these convos and thats not it.

I love it! Everything was awesome. Ordered the fish & chips and the lobster soup. The fish was thick and juicy, the chips are great too! The lobster soup had lots of lobster in it, and it tastes a little bit like laksa (if you’re from Singapore you’ll be able taste the similarity).

Terrific street food here at 101 Reykjavik. Order the local soup stew fare or some noodle soups and it'll heat your cold selves. Amazing staff, some of whom are Filipinos, too. Super friendly staff! It has a simple interior, but ample space in the 2nd floor, and it works with the concept. One of my happiest meals in Iceland during my trip October 2024. Sorry this is quite late a review but better late than never! Salamat po, mga Pinoy staff. Excellent service as ever.
