This is a must go to restaurant and bar. Very cool remodeled old building but owners kept the nostalgia. Food is fantastic. Highly recommend!
This restaurant is one of the best in Reykjavik! From the second you walk in the atmosphere is beautiful and well thought out. It only gets better with the food, highly recommend the smoked trout and the lamb and tomahawk were mouth watering. The best part of this experience were the people. They went above and beyond and truly made our experience special. I would make this a must visit on your trip
Absolutely amazing food, my new favorite place in Iceland! Try the fish soup and the smoked trout. Oliver is super knowledgeable and very pleasant. Will definitely be back when I’m in Reykjavik again.
After a long and exhausting day in the middle of a storm, I walked into this restaurant just 10 minutes before the kitchen was about to close. I honestly wasn’t expecting much—but what happened completely changed my day. The owner, Ymir, welcomed me with real kindness and immediately understood how tired I was. He spoke to the staff and had the oven turned back on just to make me a pizza. That level of care and hospitality is something you don’t see every day. He kept checking on me to make sure I had everything I needed, and even helped me find parking for my car, which I really appreciated at that moment. As for the food, I had a vegetable pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The black garlic on top was an incredible touch—rich, unique, and full of flavor. Truly a top-tier experience, both in terms of service and food. Highly recommended!
The restaurant has excellent food, including both traditional Icelandic dishes with a modern twist, as well as pizza and fries. There's truly something for everyone. The owners are incredibly friendly and even took the time to tell us about the history of the building and the artwork on display. The staff also takes wonderful care of their guests. All in all, it's definitely a place to visit when you're in Reykjavík.
