Everything about this place was amazing. I rarely order cooked fish, as im always eating sushi, but the featured fish trio dish was absolutely perfect. Perfect service from Sigurbjorg and Johann... - cant spell his name. : ) Great room, great service, great food. Highly recommended.

In one word - AWESOME Don’t hesitate to choose the “fish festival”, 3 course meal that all the 4 of us - choose. Great atmosphere, superb service e.g. as the bottle of water empties, the waiter come quickly and replace

An outstanding lunch and a real highlight of our visit to Reykjavík so far. We chose the three-course lunch menu and every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The lobster soup and seafood was exceptionally fresh, the flavours were perfectly balanced, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. The wine list is excellent, with some wonderful choices to accompany the food. We went for the Chassagne-Montrachet. What truly set this restaurant apart was the service. Everyone was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making our lunch memorable. We never felt rushed and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back tomorrow, which probably says everything you need to know. Highly recommended.

Had the best lobster soup & fish cakes ever here. Better than I’ve had in Baltimore, Boston, or any other seafood-famous city. The flavours were richly layered & absolutely popped! I was also very pleasantly surprised by the free appetisers that the house automatically brought out after I ordered. Never dipped buttered bread in sweetened granola before, but it was mind-blowingly delectable. Such a creative touch! The tuna amuse bouche was also fantastic. This was the best food I ate across two separate trips to Iceland as someone who really, really enjoys flavourful food. Service was slow & I had to get up a couple times to ask for things, but staff were polite & the food was delicious enough that it still merits 5 stars. Managed to be in and out in an hour. Ambiance was low lit & quiet. Very pleasant & romantic.

Our last night in Iceland. What a perfect way to end our trip. The trio was incredible. And the lemon sole also excellent. Staff were great and answered my questions regarding the types of fish. The bread and granola .. how is it so good? We got 2 non alcoholic drinks, so glad they had these on the menu.
