Tívolí Bistro was our very first restaurant meal in Iceland and it set a standard for the rest of our trip. Every dish we ordered was delicious and we enjoyed everything from start to finish. The dishes are not too complicated but done really well. The atmosphere was lively, the service was friendly and the location was very convenient in central Reykjavík. It was a great introduction to Icelandic style food and we would happily come back again. Highly recommended.
I had a fantastic experience at Tivoli in Reykjavík. The service was impressively fast, and even without a reservation they quickly found me a table, which I really appreciated. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect and that I was enjoying my meal. Thanks to Emma and Helena I ordered the fish of the day with fries, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection — if this is the standard, I’m confident the rest of the menu is just as excellent. Overall, a great dining experience with outstanding service and high-quality food. Highly recommended
Excellent service and the food was great. We had comfit lamb, boquerones and truffle toast (pictured) to start, followed by an excellent burger and steak.
Fun new place in a hot spot in down town Reykjavik. I had a nice chicken snitzel which was well made compared to the price. Looks a lot like a bistro in Paris, with the time it will be a great place to go and eat. Poor winelist. Great price for the food. Can't wait to go there again for lunch the next time.
