My husband and I had the speciality of the house which is the lobster soup together with white fish. We loved the food! The atmosphere gives you a trip back to the history of Reykjavik and the fine service of all three Greek ladies was absolutely the best combination of Icelandic culinary meeting the Greek hospitality! Do not miss it!
We ate there for dinner because we Phil ate there on his Netflix show. We weren’t disappointed. It’s a simple little place with only a few tables inside and more outside. The patio has some plexiglass walls that cut the wind. The food is amazing. The fish was fresh and tasty. The side were good. It’s one of the cheaper dinners we ate in Iceland as well.
Food: 4/5 only tried the lobster soup which had good chunks of lobster. Tasty but a bit on the runny side. The fish skewers smelled good. The menu is simple. They also offer assorted beverages. Service: 5/5 friendly and nice service. You place and pay your order which is brought to your table. If they're busy, you may have to share the table. Atmosphere: 5/5 nice ambiance near the pier
I was recommend this place by a friend for the famous fish skewers and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff and a nice place to sit inside. Had the lobster soup to start which was great. Then we had the shrimp , tusk and blueling skewers. My favourite was the Tusk but they were all great. Nice local beers to go with it. Highly recommended, we will also tell our friends about this place.
Though a tourist guide recommendation, we have decided to drop by this place for a tea time.. Man! Am I glad we visited this fabulous place! The soup is great and fishes dishes are fresh and yammy, not strong source to over power the taste of the fish, so obviously the fish is fresh and tasty. Is a MUst have to order the one and only soup.. 👍🏻 before the meal, I decide to roam around the restaurant😜, Wooo nice decorations and the owner put lots of thought to dress up the place. If you have a big group, the upstairs "private dinning" is the best!!! Have a chance to chat with the owner, such a super hard working ladies, she was the only one who take care got eh restaurant that afternoon, order, collect money, cook and clean.. I really salute her, not to mentioned such a warm and friendly boss!! 👍🏻 If I stay in Iceland I sure will visit the restaurant once a week. Enjoy folks!!
