Reykjavik: Lava Cave, Hot Springs, Horses & Waterfalls Tour
124 ReviewsExplore the western side of Iceland by first visiting the Hraunfossar waterfalls and Deildartunguhver. Then discover the inside of the stunning Viðgelmir Lava Cave.
You are invited to take a magnificent trip back to the settlement of Iceland and experience some of Iceland's most historical people and events. Saga Museum is located inside one of the former storage tanks of geothermal water at Perlan, one of the city's landmark buildings.
With amazingly lifelike figures you really feel that you are right there at the historical events during the Viking age.
Before you enter you will be given an Mp3 player that guides the way through the museum. Guests can choose between Icelandic, English, French, Swedish and German guidance.
Inside the museum there is also a small gift shop where artifacts made with traditional methods are available. Also on sale are glass objects, pearls, jewelry, clothes, shawls, hats, shoes and more.
